A Note from Mrs. Phillips

This week your student will be reviewing fiction and nonfiction comprehension, figurative language, and writing responses to what they read.

Homework will be different this week:  Anything that we are practicing on this week that is not completed in class will be sent home for completion to be retuned the next day. Students are still required to read for 30 minutes a night.

As you can see in A Look Ahead, our testing date is fast approaching.  Please make sure your child is reading and returning any work sent home.  Practice is the only way she/he will improve their reading and writing skills.
